Analyzing financial statements represents a crucial issue in the company's life. It helps assess its health, strengths, and weakness while spotting the points that need to be work on in order to improve the global performance of the company. It is also an important tool to determinate the ability of the company to meet its financial obligations. With a great financial statements analysis, we then can understand the current financial position of the firm, assess the historical and prospective corporate financial performance, analyze the inherent risk and potential returns on investment, and formulate informed business decisions.
The more regularly this operation is done, the more we can optimize the company performance. Financial statements are generally published annually but it is not uncommon to see big companies asking for intermediate analysis in order to optimize their positioning, functioning and take the right decisions at the right time.
