    What will the United States be like in 2030?

    Report and forecast about the position of the United States in 2030, economic, political, social and cultural aspects.

    Externally, the United States will suffer the impact of the rise of emerging economies, the failures of their military actions and policy direction of cooperation on the restructuring of the geopolitical balance.
    Position: The United States is making a transition from an ideological purpose of the rule to a global plan of status quo on offensive and leadership. The U.S. strategy "Sea Serpent-General McArthur" will return the United States in Asia, the collapse of China and the elimination of its "peer competitor". Its policy will be "China first", that will change the constitutive principle of foreign policy of the United States, that is the global war against terrorism, focusing on the Axis of Evil. The Chinese option will attempt to compensate for the incurred loss of legitimacy and shortness of breath consecutive diplomatic and military adventures in Afghanistan and Iraq. The general strategy of the United States express a contrast of realistic (moderate) on the neo-conservatives within the Republican, who will return in the long run in the opinion.

    The two Americas:
    In the North American continent will open the page of social democracy and post-imperial. The United States as "world society", will attempt the unification of the two Americas under the hegemony of WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) more flexible.
    In Central and South America Brazil take the initiative to mediate between the Nationalists bolivaro-Castro adherents and the followers of neoliberalism emerging countries, but the impasse of this effort led to a conflict of inter-American scale, where can't play full-power balance of the United States, the bulk of the effort will be brought to Asia, Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf.

    The laws are stricter in terms of budget and safety. The USA Patriot Act (anti-terrorism law which was passed by the Congress of the United States and signed by George W. Bush October 26, 2001) will be strengthened; businesses and individuals will be under close surveillance.
    Americans will face the steady erosion of their rights. More and more, security services get the right to eavesdrop on American communications without needing a warrant (...)
