    “The Redoute” is owned by the group Redcats which is a group of American and European brands specializing in distribution of fashion and decoration on the internet. It owns 14 brands which include “Daxon”, “Somewhere”, “Vertbaudet”, “Avenue” and “King Size".

    The product range of all brands of Redcats covers a very wide target customers in terms of age (infants, adolescents, seniors ...) but also fashion and lifestyle (fashion large sizes, ready- to-wear for expectant mothers, sporting and leisure ...)

    Brands of Redcats constantly develop new products and services, seeking to build targeted offers that can anticipate and meet customer expectations. Redcats is now in the top 3 sellers of apparel on the Internet in the world with the amount of sales on its websites and through its presence in 30 countries. Also, its turnover in 2009 reached 3 386 million of euros which 1.6 billion on internet.

    “The Redoute” is a multi-specialist in ready-to-wear and decoration which was created in 1820. At beginning, the company was specialized in woolen shadowing. Today, the company is diversified: clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, decoration, house appliances, electronic. And it targets women, men and child. The company adapts and innovates all the time. It's for that, it launched its website in 1995 to respond to customers' needs with an evolution of the consumption way.

    “Laredoute.fr” is the first shopping website for clothing and decoration in France. With 18 million customers around the world, “The Redoute” is present in 22 countries. Its turnover in the first half of 2010 is made more than 70% over the Net. In this case, I will present you the overview of the company and its positioning in the e-commerce to continue its growth and to face to the explosion of internet, on the French market. Finally, I will talk about the entry of “The Redoute” in the m-commerce and its strategy on the new support to sale. (...)
