Over the last few years, a lot of industries and companies suffered from the worldwide crisis, a crisis that led to bearish markets, a fall in investments, and a lot of sad consequences. However, some markets seemed to survive that crisis quite well. The pet industry, including pet food and pet care, didn't suffer the crisis at all and even enjoyed a positive background. For instance, with a 3,2% value growth between June 2008 and June 2009, in France, dry and wet food sales stood up to the hard economic background. Moreover, according to an American Pet Products Association's survey, spending in the pet industry (including food, supplies, veterinary care, live animal purchases and other services such as boarding and pet sitting) grew by 5.4% from $43.2 billion in 2008 to $45.5 billion in 2009 (...)
