    In our contemporary society, the star system is very important. Indeed, at some time or another almost everybody has read celebrities magazines like the "Daily Star" or "The People". We are all influenced by celebrities even in our everyday life.

    That's why we have decided to analyse the celebrity world to understand better the influence that it can have. We are convinced that celebrities have an influence on us and can show to normal people a bad way like becoming an alcoholic or a smoker or a drug addict.

    Furthermore, many celebrities suffer from eating disorders like anorexia or bulimia like a lot of models who are skinny or famous people like Nicole Richie. If young people do like them they can have a terrible impact. We want to show the different impacts of star behaviour to prove that celebrities have a negative influence.

    Some people think that if teenagers smoke or take drug, alcohol... it's due to their parent's education. Their parents are blamed for not being involved in the education of their children. In our opinion, this is narrow-minded thinking; indeed there are a lot of young smokers who have a good education. We believe that there are a lot of different factors that can influence teenagers: theirs peers and celebrities have an important part on how teenagers grow up. We are convinced that celebrities have an important role to play in teenagers' development and we think the impact of this role is negative. We can see an advance of anorexia on young people and we think it's due to the image conveyed by skinny models. Today, models are very skinny and indeed many are borderline anorexic, a girl who has just skin and bones can have a very negative impact on young ladies who want to be like them (...)
