Résumé
Study of some Pre-Raphaelite painters and their paintings around one major theme which is the use of light and colours. Pre-Raphaelites had three or four favourite subjects regarding landscape painting. Some of them, Hunt for example, were really interested in the metaphoric representation of all biblical subjects. Others, such as Hughes, preferred to remain focused on more down-to-earth subjects and to use models representing ordinary people.
