Résumé
This article, extracted from The Economist of May 8th 2004, tackles the issue of the corporation analysis, not as an institution but as a person. This article is a reaction to the movie "The Corporation", a Canadian documentary launched in the USA in 2004. Normally, such articles are at the end of magazines but here it is in the business part, so we can deduce that a particular importance is given to the criticism of this documentary.
The article deals with the psychological profile of the corporation, the topical question being, "If the corporation can be seen as a psychopath, is its role in the society affected by this vision, and is the corporation an insane institution for people and society?".
To make a presentation of this article, we will follow its layout: firstly the striking resemblances between a corporation an a psychopath, secondly the consequences a corporation can have on people, and at last the link between theses ideas and a theoretical grounding.
