There are 3 kinds of business:
- One-man business = sole trader: 1 person responsible for providing the capital & bearing the risks
- Partnership: between 2 and 20 people carrying on business in common with view to profit (ex: lawyers). There are 2 categories: general partnership (all are liable for the debts) and limited partnership (limited partners are only liable for their own financial contribution)
- Companies: 2 kinds:
- Public limited companies (S.A) = Plc: they must have a minimum of 2 directors & 2 shareholders, a nominal share capital of £ 50,000 (...)
