Sesame workshop is the producer of Sesame Street; an American based preschool educational show that has experienced great success in both America and on the international scene through its several local versions of the show - Sesame English, Elmo's World, Ulitza Sesame - in almost 150 countries worldwide. International revenue represents about 20% of its total revenue. Even though Sesame Workshop is a not-for profit organization, it wants to create a financially viable and growing organization. Founded in the U.S. in 1968, Sesame Workshop (New Children's Television Workshop) aims at using television as a means for education of preschool children.
