Résumé

Work is about relationship and relational wealth can be defined as "the economic advantage derived from keeping intact the relations businesses have with their workforce, suppliers and communities."

In France, the right to strike was recognized by the law in order to protect the employees' rights and to express their professional claims within the company. According to the French Court, strike is defined as: "The collective and concerted suspension work, in order to make succeed professional claims." Today, courts are based on this definition to determine the legality of the actions carried out by the employees of a company.

But it should not be forgotten that the French Law and more particularly laws concerning the labor take into account the interests of each one, i.e. it protects also the companies against certain abuses made by the employees. Indeed, the employee must be and remain honest towards his company and preserve his conscientiousness.

However, it is frequent that employees, supported by trade unions, misuse this right to strike with regard to the employers and the organization of the company. This is why, we can wonder which are the moral and ethical leadership implications of the French rail strike?

To answer this question, we will analyze first of all what is the immediate or urgent moral challenge; then, we will discern the ethics of the corporate citizenship and the social responsibility in order to show then, how it is justified by a mission statement and financial aspect.
