Résumé

In Crete, much more than on our country, the tourist companies attach a great importance to their environment and the opportunities of the market. This does not prevent them, of course, from being concrete in their organization, rational and exigent about their economic results. In this context, to make my training course in a resort was one of the best ways to discover the culture of this country. First of all, this training course allowed me to discover a Cretan company through the hotel Peninsula, with the supervision of Héliades, in which I integrated the working methods of hotel industry.

Crete's economy has a dynamic market future, with an average per capita income which is close to 100% of the Greek average and a low unemployment rate of 4% which is the half of the Greek one.
