Extract:
"Herbie Hancock was born in 1940, on April 12th, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He grew up in a musical household.
By the age of seven, he started studying the piano, and only two years later, he had his first public performance; this shows how brilliant he was at playing this instrument. When he was eleven, he even performed a Mozart piano concerto with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra! As he also liked jazz music, he played in semi-professional bands during the period he was in High-School and College. In Grinnel College in Iowa, he managed to join his two passions: he studied at the same time music and electrical engineering. From time to time, he also accompanied visiting jazzmen."
