Résumé
Study on "The go-between" written by L.P. Hartley.
"Hartley's story begins with Leo Colston, a man in his sixties, who finds an old diary he wrote when he was twelve. Through this diary, Leo remembers events which took place in the summer of 1900. At that time, he spent a hot summer holiday in Norfolk as guest at Brandham Hall, the luxurious country home of his schoolfriend, Marcus Maudsley. The greatest portion of “The Go-Between” concerns Leo's particular summer of 1900 at Brandham Hall where he is a poor boy among the wealthy, upper class."
