Résumé
Essay : When is military intervention justified? In 1964, when Martin Luther King accepted his Nobel Prize for Peace he declared in his speech that Man's inhumanity to man is not only perpetrated by the vitriolic actions of those who are bad, it is also perpetrated by the vitiating inaction of those who are good. When we hear this, we can ask ourselves if it is our duty to intervene in situations where the population of a country is in danger. But to be sure of that we have to consider what the state is and what its role in these cases is as it is the main actor in international relations. In this essay we will study when military interventions are justified and link our answers to present military interventions.
