Study on immigration in the USA since 1965. The idea of a multicultural society dates from the 60s. Indeed, minorities are growing. There is an emphasis of minorities' equality. The 60s witnessed a change of the immigration policy. Discrimination could no longer be used as a tool in the US immigration policy. Since 1965, there has been a change of the rules of immigration.
