Managing one's career is a difficult task just as managing a product on the market. One's career goes through different stages and evolves with choices and personality.
Graduation is a very important step in a student's life, yet it is only where things really begin. In fact, it implies making many choices among a large set of different possibilities. As far as I'm concerned, I have a very pragmatic vision of my career and prefer not to look too far ahead. I strongly feel that the first step through which I will have to go is consolidating and putting into practice the concepts and knowledge acquired throughout my education. For recruiters, experience is as important as qualifications, depending on the job. In addition, I believe that understanding the enterprise working processes and organization requires a strong commitment to the company for a certain amount of time. To my mind, graduating doesn't mean I will stop learning. On the contrary, I will learn probably more than I did at University but it will be in a more concrete way, related to the constraints and needs of the market. Facing everyday cases helps understanding the market needs.
In the long term, my project is to start my own IT business. I don't want to hurry; I prefer waiting until I feel ready and have enough experience to get a precise vision of the company I want to start, in every little details [...]
